The Riverhead Athletic Club is hosting a Field Hockey Clinic on Sunday, June 8, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Pulaski Street Turf Field. This clinic is designed to support the growth of field hockey within the Riverhead community and is open to children in grades one through seven.
The clinic will feature coaches from various levels and backgrounds, including Riverhead’s own varsity coaches. Participants can expect to learn essential basics and skills of the game, and also get a chance to meet Riverhead varsity players and coaches.
Participants are required to bring shin guards, sneakers or cleats, water, and a stick if they have one. Sticks will be provided for those who don’t have one. The cost of the clinic is $10 per child, payable by checks, cash, Zelle, or Venmo.
Registration is open now and walk-ups are also welcome.
