Kenneth J. Nash Sr. of Calverton died on June 5, 2025, at North Shore University Hospital. He was 69 years old.

He was born in Riverhead on April 17, 1956, the son of Daniel and Frances (Johnson) Nash. He was educated in the Riverhead School District. Kenneth was a truck driver for 40 years. He married Kim E. Murray in Riverhead on Oct. 1, 1977.

He loved puttering around in the yard and going fishing with his brother on the Long Island Sound, his wife said. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kenneth Jr., Kyle, Kerry, and Trinda; by his siblings, Danny, Evern, Arnell, Evette, Sandra, Ruth, and Vanessa; and by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 10, from 10 to 11 a.m. at McLaughlin Heppner Funeral Home in Riverhead. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
